The Charles University Volunteer Centre was created with the aim of supporting Charles University students in volunteering and connecting them with non-profit partner organizations. We believe that the volunteer activities of students is beneficial to society and will also help develop students’ personal and professional skills.

The Volunteer Centre offers administrative and organizational support, consultation, and the transfer of know-how.

The centre’s mission is, in particular

• To provide volunteering experience to students of Charles University

• To develop students’ competencies that are important for their personal and professional life through volunteer activities.

• To provide administrative and organizational support to CU student volunteers.

• To strengthen the civic engagement of students and fulfil the university’s third role in society.

The activities of the Volunteer Centre are regulated by CU’s Code of Ethics.
